The iPhone has been touted as a powerhouse of mobile entertainment. Based entirely on applications, the iPhone throws up several of them that can work towards helping work life. There are also plenty of ways in which you can relax with your phone. The multitude of games that you can choose from is a good place to start.

Take Gesture 21 for example. This is a game for all of those who love card games. Based on the game Blackjack, it can be played by someone who is learning the ropes as well as by an experienced casino player. The game allows you to bet, play a hand, keep track of scores and even allows you to buy insurance if you would so need. A first timer may take a while getting used to the entire set-up.

For those of you who like a little action in your games – Jungle Jump – the mother of all jumps could be your answer. The game has extremely good graphics and a high loading speed. It has three levels and you can choose your level of difficulty. Want a little water fun on the side, then just tap your creature and he will spray water in the direction of the tap. This game is for those with patience.

A game with a twist is what Belly Bums is all about. The game is of volleyball. Only difference is that you will have to bounce the ball of your opponent’s and your stomach. It will take a bit of practice since the ball can end up flying over your head. This is a touch game and you will have to use your fingers to swipe the ball around. The sound and graphics add to the fun of the game.

The iBloxs is an old classic which has been brought back with a number of upgrades. The graphics and the background music are great. This game can be played solo or can be set up for multi-player levels through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It has several modes such as the puzzle mode and Time Attack mode. Pounce is another card game, but one that has been simplistically developed. It has an easy navigable menu and even has a tutorial. This is something most games do not come with. This game too can be played alone or with others. There is even opportunity to host a game via your phone.

Can classic war games be far behind? The Skies of Glory is one such game that is free for download. The game makes you a fighter pilot and you will have to work your way up the ranks. There are several applications that provide for hours of fun.
